Housekeeping Associate - Eataly Flatiron
The Housekeeping Associate provides constant maintenance and ensures good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities including all building, restaurant and retail facilities. Functionally reports to the Retail General Manager and Housekeeping Leads.
- Maintains general cleanliness throughout the store including mopping, sweeping and vacuuming
- Washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, glassware, utensils, cups and small equipment for the department
- Checks water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature
- Stocks shelves, racks and service stations with restaurant supplies: polishes glassware and silverware
- Removes trash, recycling and compost from receptacles throughout the store and kitchens and brings to appropriate receptacle; cleans, sanitizes and replaces liners in receptacles
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Previous stocking, dishwashing or housekeeping experience preferred
- Sense of urgency
Job Requirements
- Open availability during operational hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to work in an environment with wet floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise
Compensation: The base rate for this position is $17 per hour
