Role profile:

Service Reliability & Operations

• Establish and maintain operational standards, service health monitoring, and support frameworks.
• Drive proactive identification and resolution of system issues before they impact business operations.
• Analyze recurring incidents and implement sustainable fixes to improve platform stability

Incident & Problem Management

• Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues across Workday modules and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Workday, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve critical service interruptions. Continuously improve incident response processes and operational readiness.

Mass Data Management & Data Operations

• Partner, Collaborate to effectively plan, manages the large-scale data management activities, including worker data updates, organizational changes, restructures, acquisitions, and data remediation initiatives.
• Design and implement mass data loads and updates using Workday EIBs and other approved data management tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance through validation, reconciliation, and audit controls.
• Partner with business collaborators to plan and implement high-volume data changes with minimal operational impact.
• Find opportunities to streamline and automate recurring data administration activities

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, and processes.

Testing & Release Management

• Partner, Collaborate in managing the testing workstream for Workday releases, enhancements, and configuration changes.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities with business and technical collaborators.
• Ensure changes are thoroughly validated prior to deployment.
• Support change management processes to minimize operational risk

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Partner with People Functions teams to gather and analyse requirements for security configurations.
• Assess existing security architecture and deliver expert recommendations to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant solutions.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors (when required) to support defining scope, requirements, timelines, and work you're doing.
• Build sustainable, efficient, and easy to follow setup, solutions in Workday – predominantly in the security architecture, cross function services and authentication.
• Partner, Collaborate in ensuring end-to-end test planning, execution, and coordination. Collaborate with multi-functional partners to drive comprehensive testing strategies and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Support training, testing, and user adoption activities to ensure successful rollout and sustainability.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday,. Experience must be in Workday HCM/Security with solid understanding of advanced security setup, solutions, authentication via SSO, Oauth etc,
• Solid understanding of Workday business processes.
• Understanding of Workday integrations and reporting.
• Experience with Workday releases and change management processes.
• Ability to handle own projects through all stages

Desirable Skills

• Workday certifications in one or more modules
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Asana or ServiceNow.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superb communication and stake holder management.
• Collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and quality user experience.
