Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials, including sheet metal. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies.

Duties

Perform TIG and MMA (stick welding) on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components.

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.

Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.

Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in TIG welding and MMA (stick welding) techniques.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

Familiarity with fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.

Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am until 4:30pm) Friday(8am until 3:30pm)
