we began in 2001, when lee rhodes dropped a candle into a colored glass votive after being sick from cancer for the third time. the calming light gave her peace, and a flicker of hope. this hope helped her to heal, and inspired a mission and business devoted to providing the same hope and healing to people, animals and the planet.

Purpose of the Position

This individual supports the web and ecommerce team by picking, packing and shipping glassybaby.com website orders. In addition to processing and fulfilling orders, this individual will support the Web Fulfillment Manager by ensuring all shipping supplies are fully stocked within each packing station.

1. Timely and complete order fulfillment, without errors
2. Possitive team player with a ‘can do’ attittude
3. Dependable and flexible to accommodate business needs

Primary Duties:

1. Print and sort orders for web fulfillment team
2. Ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
3. Manage hand written note requests for outgoing orders
4. Assist with processing incoming and outgoing transfers
5. Facilitate inventory process and perform daily, monthly and quarterly counts as needed
6. Assist with stocking glassybaby products, packaging, accessories, ribbons, tealights, and circle cards
7. Assist with corporate orders as needed
8. Assist as needed with customer service; emails, chat, phones
9. Assist in etching department or with other team tasks as needed

Qualifications Needed to Successfully Perform the Job:

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Prior ecommerce operations and/or customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Flexible; willing to work on weekends and various hours
2. Detail oriented
3. A pro-active self-starter who is quick to learn, remaining positive at all times
4. Clear and consise verbal and written communications skills
5. Possess a high sense of urgency to complete tasks on time without errors
6. Technically savvy; able to navigate a multitute of systems simultaneously
7. A team player; willing to go outside usual job tasks to help the team

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Frequent sitting, standing and walking. Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct conversations. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in an environment where noise level is usually moderate. Strong use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; must be able to reach with hands and arms, and be able to perform detailed work with fingers.
