[WCF] Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter)
Project – the aim you’ll have
Our team works with a British insurance company on cybersecurity. We develop customer care applications which serve as the communication channel between the insurance company and its customers. The main app’s functional features are checking if the customer has secure enough infrastructure to have the agreement with that company. End user is notified about incidents and risks, which are connected to the company he/she is employed it. There is a guidance from a set of FAQs and a virtual assistant. The app has an additional tools released along with it to configure the colour, schemes, fonts and content.
Role – how you’ll contribute
We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in Flutter to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our frontend, backend developers, and stakeholders to build high performing, visually stunning mobile applications that deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
- Collaborate with designers and backend teams to implement features and enhance app functionality.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with Flutter trends, tools, and best practices.
Expectations – the experience you need
- Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer with a focus on Flutter.
- Strong understanding of Dart programming language.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of modern app architecture
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in Scrum methodology
- Experience in fintech applications is a plus.
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Experience with native bridges for both iOS & Android using Swift and Kotlin.
- Familiarity with state management solutions like Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod
- Ability to divide complex technical requirements into smaller ones and picking details that can be done at a later stage
