Discussion

Yoodli is a venture-backed company building an AI Platform for Human Skills, helping people get measurably better in their careers by supporting them in the flow of work.

Our team includes former employees from Google, Apple, Microsoft, Tableau, and beyond, united by a passion for empowering people using AI. We're headquartered in the heart of Seattle, and we're having a lot of fun along the way. Our culture is built on failing fast, iterating constantly, and taking bold bets. We value humility, a bias for action, and the belief that we win together.

We've raised $60M, including a $40M Series B led by WestBridge Capital, backed by Madrona, Neotribe, Cercano, and incubated at the Allen Institute for AI. We're valued at $300M and grew revenue 900% year over year.

Our customers include Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, RingCentral, SAP, FranklinCovey, Korn Ferry, Sandler Training, Toastmasters, and many more, with learners in over 150 countries. Google Cloud certified 15,000+ reps without scaling headcount. Snowflake recovered 1,200+ manager hours per quarter. Harness cut training review time by 75%.

We've been featured in TechCrunch, Axios, The Information, Forbes, Fast Company, and more. Try the platform free at .

The Role

Yoodli is looking for a VP of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing function as a member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and participating in board meetings.

This is a full-stack marketing leadership role for someone who treats pipeline as the first proof point. You'll build a demand engine the board can see working, and you'll use that credibility to invest in the positioning, category, brand, and customer stories that make the engine compound. You've done this inside a B2B SaaS company scaling through the growth phase up to $100M ARR, and you know what breaks, what gets rebuilt, and what has to be invented for the first time.

You're a builder and a leader. You're comfortable writing the positioning doc, standing up the campaign, or shipping the landing page yourself with AI-native tools, and equally comfortable hiring, developing, and directing a team to scale beyond what you can do alone. You bring bold bets, run them as experiments, and you kill what isn't working fast.

What You'll Do

Build the demand engine. Own pipeline generation end to end across paid, organic, partner, events, and outbound support, with clear accountability for pipeline contribution, CAC, conversion, and ROI on spend.
Make marketing measurable. Stand up the marketing ops, attribution, and reporting foundation that lets us see what's working, and partner with Sales and RevOps so marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline turns into revenue.
Own the story. Lead product marketing and positioning, including the shift to Yoodli as an AI Platform for Human Skills. Set the messaging Sales sells with, run launches, and own competitive and packaging alongside Sales and Product.
Build the category and the brand. Make Yoodli the company people point to. Lead press, analyst relations, social, and thought leadership, and find the bets that get us talked about.
Turn customers into the growth engine. Build customer marketing and advocacy so proof points like Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Harness become a repeatable asset for pipeline and expansion.
Grow with partners. Build partner marketing with the ecosystem that already drives revenue for us, including Salesforce, SAP, FranklinCovey, and Korn Ferry.
Lead the team. Inherit a team of four across events and field marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, and press and social. Develop them, hire where the gaps are, and build a function that scales beyond your own hands.
Communicate at the executive and board level. Translate marketing strategy and performance into a clear, credible narrative for the CEO, leadership team, and board, and shape company strategy alongside Sales, Product, and CS.
Place bold bets. Propose well-reasoned experiments, take calculated risks, double down fast on what works, and cut what doesn't.

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Have led marketing as an executive reporting to a CEO, or been a senior marketing leader, inside a B2B SaaS company scaling through the growth phase up to $100M ARR.
  • Have built a marketing measurement model that a CFO and a board trusted, and can walk us through the funnel math for a business you ran.
  • Have set a marketing vision a company rallied behind, and can point to the moment it changed how Sales sold.
  • Have run the full function, not just one channel: demand gen, product marketing, brand and comms, partner and customer marketing, and marketing ops — and know how to invest across them without learning any of them on the job.
  • Communicate exceptionally well with executives and boards, and can defend your funnel and spend in a room full of skeptics.
  • Build with AI-native tools and ship without waiting on engineering. You know legacy marketing playbooks don't cut it anymore.
  • Can do the work yourself and lead through others, and know when each is called for.
  • Have a track record of bold bets, experiments, and smart risks rather than playing it safe.
  • Are a great people leader who develops the team you have and hires the team you need.

Logistics

Seattle-based, hybrid three days a week in our downtown office.

Why Yoodli

  • Competitive compensation ($180,000-$230,000 salary) plus significant bonus and meaningful equity.
  • Full benefits: healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, flexible PTO.
  • High-impact, mission-driven work with direct customer feedback loops.
  • Work with a humble, driven, deeply collaborative team.
  • A product you'll use and believe in – every single week.
