THE OPPORTUNITY
Monterrey is one of the densest manufacturing corridors in the world, and Overview is early there. This is a hands-on field role based in Monterrey that puts you on factory floors 60 to 80% of the time, running everything from first technical discovery through production deployment. You will operate with real autonomy: no scripts, no hand-holding, and the judgment calls on the line are yours to make with Overview's engineering team behind you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Deployment end to end: Carry customers from first conversation through onboarding to a system running in production.
Technical discovery: Lead discovery conversations, live demos, and onsite evaluations that turn a customer's pain point into a clear deployment plan.
Hands-on field work: Execute installations, debug issues on live equipment, and troubleshoot alongside manufacturing teams.
Use case identification: Find and qualify the highest-impact inspection opportunities inside each account.
Customer relationships: Build and hold the trusted-advisor relationship with key manufacturing partners across Monterrey and the surrounding industrial corridor.
Product feedback loop: Bring field insight back to engineering to inform product and deployment strategy.
WHO YOU ARE
Required
Based in Monterrey, or relocating there before starting.
Proven experience operating in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Applications Engineer, Field Engineer, Vision Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar).
Comfortable on a factory floor: you get hands-on with equipment, debug live issues, and support production without hesitating.
Able to run technical discovery, identify pain points, and translate them into a concrete deployment plan.
Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English.
See 60 to 80% travel across Monterrey and nearby industrial regions as the point of the job, not a cost of it.
Strong Preferences
Direct experience with vision systems, robotics, automation, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.
Existing relationships across Monterrey area plants, whether automotive, appliance, or electronics.
Strong systems thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
Energized by ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
Motivated to build deep technical expertise in AI vision inspection.
