Armorous Security is hiring experienced Unarmed Emergency Support Officers (ESO III) to handle our most complex, sensitive, and high-visibility coverage assignments.
This role is built for seasoned officers who can work independently and represent Armorous at our highest-profile client accounts.

Pay: $26.00/hr

Employment Type: On-Call / Per-Diem (Non-Guaranteed Hours)

Classification: Non-Exempt

Coverage Area: Bay Area: Richmond, San Francisco, San Jose, Fairfield, and surrounding cities.
You'll cover different sites across the region, so reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations is a must.

Availability Required: Must be available for some or all weekdays, weekends, and holidays, across day, swing, and night (graveyard) shifts.
The more flexible your availability, the more shifts we can offer you.

Experience: 3+ years of verified security experience

What You'll Do

• Handle Armorous's most complex, sensitive, or high-visibility short-notice and emergency coverage assignments.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision-making with minimal to no direct supervision.
• Serve as an informal point of contact or mentor to less experienced ESOs during shared assignments.
• Patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders.
• Write clear, accurate reports of daily activity and irregularities.
• Maintain uniform, grooming, and BSIS licensing standards.

What We're Looking For

• Active BSIS Guard Card (California).
• Advanced incident management and de-escalation skills, with a sustained track record in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated ability to represent Armorous professionally at sensitive or high-profile accounts.
• Sustained record of reliability and attendance, with no unresolved disciplinary action.
• Able to pass a standard background check.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned sites.
