UI/UX Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI/UX Designer based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to shape intuitive digital experiences across web and mobile products.
You’ll work closely with clients, product teams, designers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
The position combines user research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and design-system thinking.
You’ll operate in a lean, agile environment where rapid iteration and thoughtful feedback are central to the creative process.
Your work will directly influence how digital products look, feel, and function for their users.

• Apply human-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle to create intuitive and effective user experiences.

• Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, business objectives, and product requirements.

• Conduct user research, analyze findings, and translate insights into actionable design recommendations.

• Develop concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile products.

• Iterate rapidly on designs within a lean and Agile environment, adapting solutions based on research, stakeholder feedback, and changing priorities.

• Clearly communicate and defend design decisions while incorporating feedback in a constructive and diplomatic manner.

• Create development-ready designs with sufficient detail and clarity for engineering teams to implement.

• Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products and digital experiences.

• Apply strong visual design principles across typography, color, spacing, layout, and interaction patterns.

• Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.

• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure designs align with project scope, timelines, and user requirements.

• Stay informed about emerging design practices, technologies, and digital product trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in UI, UX, product design, or a closely related discipline.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work across user experience and user interface design.

• Professional working proficiency with Figma.

• Experience designing user interfaces without relying solely on pre-built frameworks or component libraries.

• Demonstrated ability to create designs that are clear, detailed, and ready for development.

• Strong understanding of interaction design and user-centered design methodologies.

• Well-developed visual design skills, particularly in typography, color theory, spacing, hierarchy, and layout.

• Ability to contribute to and work within established design systems.

• Secondary proficiency with design tools such as Adobe, Affinity, Linearity, or comparable applications.

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate user insights into practical design decisions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence explaining design rationale to clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, initiative, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Interest in continuous learning and keeping up with evolving design tools, technologies, and industry practices.
