UI Design Lead- Future Freelance

Your Role.
As a Freelance UI Design Lead at Fantasy, you’ll think beyond ordinary to ship world-class products for world-leading organizations. You will collaborate with talented teams to create experiences that millions of people not only use, but love.
Key Responsibilities.
- Design visually compelling, high-functioning user interfaces for applications, websites, and digital products.
- Combine layout thinking with visual detail to deliver clean, cohesive, system-driven design.
- Maintain visual consistency and coherence across products through expert use of Figma and component libraries.
- Create and document micro-interactions and UI motion briefs to elevate usability and delight.
- Partner with UX and conceptual designers to iterate on wireframes and navigation frameworks, refining them into polished, production-ready UI.
- Translate client goals into clear, well-crafted design solutions grounded in research and usability.
- Apply strong visual and interaction design principles to shape human-device experiences, including how people interact with AI.
- Build lasting client relationships and represent the design discipline in cross-functional meetings.
Experience and Skills.
- 5+ years of experience as a Visual or UI Designer, with a strong portfolio spanning multiple industries and product types.
- Agency experience.
- Strong command of UI craft, layout, and interaction design, with the ability to turn UX wireframes into production-ready interfaces.
- Skilled in navigation frameworks, product flows, and system-level thinking.
- Experience creating and documenting micro-interactions and UI motion briefs.
- Solid grasp of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Comfortable designing from data and user research insights.
- Advanced Figma skills, including shared libraries, plugins, and design system components.
- A meticulous eye for detail and strong design taste, with an active awareness of industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of building strong client relationships.
- Nice to have: experience working within or contributing to design systems (structure, scalability, documentation).
