Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to transport materials safely and provide courteous service to customers. The role involves driving on public roads and construction sites, securing loads, maintaining delivery records, and carrying out daily vehicle checks.

Key responsibilities

• Transport and deliver materials to assigned locations in accordance with road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Load, secure, and unload materials, using vehicle equipment or manual handling as required.
• Drive safely in varying road, weather, traffic, and site conditions.
• Follow dispatch instructions and obtain customer signatures for deliveries when required.
• Maintain truck logs and accurate records of materials transported.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections, keep the cab clean, and report repair needs to the Supervisor or Workshop Department.
• Follow safety rules and perform other related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of truck driving experience.
• A valid driver’s licence for the vehicle and equipment assigned.
• Ability to operate a truck safely and responsibly.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• A courteous and respectful approach when dealing with customers and the public.
