Trainee Fund Accountant (Fund Services)

Purpose of the Role

Kick-start your accounting career with our Fund Services team. As a Trainee Fund Accountant, you'll gain hands-on experience in fund accounting, financial reporting and client servicing while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable technical skills, work towards a professional qualification and build a long-term career in financial services.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of fund accounts, financial reports and client deliverables.
• Gain practical experience in bookkeeping, transaction processing and financial record management.
• Work with clients, auditors and other professional advisers to support reporting deadlines.
• Learn about accounting standards, regulatory requirements and fund structures.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues while building your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• This is an entry level role which would suit a recent graduate in a relevant subject or someone with relevant work experience:
• A good grounding in accounting skills, eg from an Accounting or Finance related degree and relevant experience.
• Good presentational, written and verbal communication skills
• Solid Excel, Word and general IT skills
