Apple’s Platform Architecture group is seeking an experienced systems engineer, who will support our current, as well as develop new hardware/software interface technologies for chip development and verification. You will work with and support our world leading silicon engineering teams on next generation chips, which end up in the hands of millions of users worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Experience with multi-threading/concurrency.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python or Lua.
- Experience with debugging and profiling tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with C++17 or later, including templates for compile-time optimizations.
- Experience with SystemVerilog, HDL simulation tools, and protocols such as AXI.
- Experience with atomics and memory ordering.
- Experience moving data over sockets, shared memory, or PCIe.
- Experience with internal customer support.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
