Supply Quality Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Supply Quality Manager based in India.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the quality, training, and content standards of a rapidly growing spiritual consultation platform.
You’ll take ownership of consultation quality while helping experts deliver accurate, culturally relevant, and engaging experiences.
The role combines Vedic astrology expertise with marketplace operations, quality assurance, expert development, and content creation.
You’ll build processes and standards from the ground up, identifying performance bottlenecks and creating practical solutions.
You’ll work in a global, data-driven environment where your insights can influence both expert performance and the customer experience.
The position also offers significant autonomy, with the opportunity to establish best practices rather than simply follow existing playbooks.

• Own quality assurance for consultation chats, regularly reviewing interactions for accuracy, cultural fit, customer engagement, retention, and overall experience.
• Fact-check Vedic astrology and related spiritual content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance for the Indian market.
• Develop and maintain quality standards, guidelines, and evaluation frameworks for India-based experts.
• Design and implement training and onboarding programs to improve expert capabilities, consultation quality, and consistency.
• Identify performance gaps and operational bottlenecks affecting expert supply quality, then develop and implement solutions to address them.
• Support the recruitment process by screening prospective experts and assessing their practical consultation abilities and subject-matter expertise.
• Identify recurring user pain points and translate insights from consultations into opportunities for product, content, and marketing improvements.
• Contribute to the development of esoteric and spiritual content features tailored to the Indian audience.
• Use AI-powered tools and data-driven approaches to analyze consultation conversations at scale and identify quality trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate across teams to strengthen expert performance, customer experience, content quality, and marketplace operations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working on an astrology, spiritual consultation, or similar expert marketplace platform in supply operations, quality management, expert training, or a related function; alternatively, 2+ years of marketplace or supply operations experience combined with hands-on Vedic astrology practice.
• Strong working knowledge of Vedic astrology, including Kundli interpretation, dashas, transits, and nakshatras.
• Fluent Hindi and English, with English proficiency at approximately B2 level or above.
• Vedic astrology education, certification, or demonstrable practical expertise.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide direct, constructive feedback to experts and consultants.
• Ability to build processes, standards, and operating frameworks from scratch in an environment without an established playbook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify patterns, diagnose performance issues, and translate insights into practical improvements.
• Comfortable working across cultures and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders and experts.
• Working knowledge of AI tools for analyzing conversations, identifying patterns, and supporting quality management at scale.
• Experience training, onboarding, recruiting, or managing a network of experts or consultants is advantageous.
• Experience creating written or video content for a spiritual, astrology, or similar audience is a plus.
• Additional knowledge of practices such as KP, Lal Kitab, Nadi, Prashna, Vastu, numerology, or gemology is beneficial.
• Familiarity with the Panchang, muhurat, and Indian festival calendar is an advantage.
• Additional regional language skills, particularly Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, or Telugu, are welcome.
