Your design choices will instantly shape one of the largest and most frequent digital footprints in the mobile ecosystem.

Who will do well in this role?

This role is for a mature designer who can bring structural clarity to ambiguity and impeccable craft to complexity. The work demands someone who can move seamlessly from deep user-problem framing to high-fidelity execution. We are looking for an individual who thinks inherently in scalable systems, designs with technical and spatial precision, and raises the strategic quality of every product conversation they enter.

What will you work on?

• Own Core Commerce Journeys: Act as the design custodian for end-to-end commerce and highlight experiences. This includes identifying the right problems to solve, turning complex machine-learning capabilities into invisible user architecture, and translating multi-variant product capabilities into interfaces that feel simple and natural.
• Hands-on Execution & Systems Thinking: Work fluidly across user flows, interaction frameworks, layout structures, and high-fidelity prototyping. You will remain comfortably hands-on while keeping an expert eye on systemic scalability, ensuring your design output sets an unassailably high bar for craftsmanship.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Partner as an absolute peer with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams to define experiences that balance human intuition with robust business mechanics, knowing exactly where design can create disproportionate value.
• Scale Your Practice & Mentor Talent: Establish clear design structures, frameworks, and operational processes. You will lead and mentor a talented cohort of mid-level and junior designers from interaction and visual backgrounds, steering them toward successful execution.
• Evangelise the Domain: Act as an internal champion for user-centred design paradigms across the broader InMobi Group. Concurrently, you will be given the mandate and platform to represent Glance’s unique design innovations externally at premier global design forums and industry conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Portfolio of Scale: A proven body of shipped, complex consumer-facing work demonstrating strong product thinking and refined interaction craft that is currently active in the market at scale.
• UX Architecture Mastery: Deep, uncompromised command over information architecture, interface hierarchy, cognitive load management, and multi-state system flows.
• Android Ecosystem Fluency: A deep, native understanding of the interactive and structural design paradigms unique to the Android operating system and mobile-first ecosystem layers.
• Articulation & Reasoning: Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentational skills, with a proven ability to build a shared, logical understanding of design strategy with senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing consumer products where deep personalisation, algorithmic recommendation feeds, or rich-media discovery spaces directly drive user retention and conversion.
• A background working within high-velocity, high-ambiguity product environments where you successfully established design guidelines or mentored junior design talent.

A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Post-Graduate degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Information Design, or Visual Communication.
