The Opportunity
Are you a hands-on lifecycle marketer who loves turning strategy into precise, high-performing campaigns? We're looking for a Sr. Marketing Campaign Analyst to join our lifecycle marketing team and help execute customer engagement programs across key member channels. This role will focus on campaign execution across email, SMS, push, and direct mail, helping drive engagement, retention, and long-term customer value.
You will build, launch, QA, monitor, and optimize multi-channel campaigns and automated journeys. You will partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Analytics, Design, Content, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Marketing Technology to ensure campaigns are accurate, timely, compliant, and effective. You will also help improve how campaigns get built by documenting processes, identifying execution gaps, and recommending scalable workflow improvements.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You will contribute ideas and recommendations that shape lifecycle programs. Success means campaigns launch reliably, workflows scale cleanly, testing and reporting improve over time, and customers receive relevant, high-quality communications.
If you're an execution-focused marketer with strong technical skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for improving customer engagement, we'd love to hear from you.
At Oportun, we move fast and we hold each other to a high bar. If you care about doing your best work while actually moving the needle for real people, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day
- You’ll own and optimize the lifecycle roadmap across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, product adoption, and cross-product growth.
- You’ll build, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, push, SMS, in-app, and emerging channels.
- You’ll use customer data, behavioral signals, product events, segmentation, and personalization to deliver timely and relevant member experiences.
- You’ll design and improve automated lifecycle journeys that support onboarding, activation, feature adoption, servicing, engagement, and retention.
- You’ll lead structured experimentation, including A/B and holdout testing, to measure incremental impact and improve performance.
- You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data, Design, Content, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing Technology to align priorities and deliver new capabilities.
- You’ll translate lifecycle needs into clear technical requirements, event definitions, data requirements, use cases, and implementation priorities.
- You’ll help advance Oportun’s CLM technology capabilities through new channels, custom events, improved data flows, platform enhancements, and automation.
- You’ll identify and resolve gaps in data, tooling, integrations, or workflows that limit campaign performance or execution.
- You’ll ensure campaigns meet high standards for QA, deliverability, consent management, data integrity, privacy, compliance, and member experience.
- You’ll bring ideas for how we can do things better, proactively, not just when asked.
- You’ll look for practical ways to use AI to improve campaign development, analysis, personalization, QA, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
Who You Are
The right fit looks like this
You’re a customer-focused lifecycle marketer who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting into the details of execution. You combine strong marketing judgment with data, technology, and experimentation to improve member experiences and business outcomes.
