Software tester/ SDET

Job Description:

· Support Microsoft Surface team in the verification of software, firmware and drivers for video capture.

· Testing in support of verification includes driver stability, HLK, application compatibility and E2E scenario testing.

· The successful candidate will have good oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented following test procedures and reporting results and have experience with C/C++ and/or scripting.

· The candidate will apply their knowledge and experience to document reliable and repeatable test cases for bugs including capturing debug logs and first level root cause investigation.

Qualifications:

· 1-3 plus years software testing experience

· 1 year development using a Microsoft product.

· Solid knowledge of software quality assurance practices.

· Ability to read logical and physical data model diagrams.

· Ability to read and write C/C++ required.

Knowledge of personal computer hardware related to video capture is preferred.
