Social Media Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Manager based in India.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to manage and grow a social media account focused on an AI-powered video editing product.
You will take ownership of the India market, creating content in English and an Indian language such as Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, or Telugu.
The role combines social media management, video creation, on-camera content, and audience growth.
You will have the opportunity to experiment with content formats, work with creators, and understand what drives meaningful video performance.
As part of an early-stage environment, you will work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and contributing ideas that can shape the account’s growth.
The position is open to both recent graduates and experienced professionals who are curious, creative, and eager to build something from the ground up.

• Manage and grow the India-focused social media account for an AI-powered video editing product.
• Create and publish engaging short-form video content in English and a relevant Indian language, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, or Telugu.
• Use video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, and AI-powered editing solutions to produce and refine content.
• Develop content ideas based on trends, creators, audience behavior, and factors that influence video performance.
• Appear on camera and create authentic, engaging content that connects with the target audience.
• Take ownership of the account’s day-to-day management, content development, and growth initiatives.
• Experiment with different content formats and approaches to identify opportunities for audience and engagement growth.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, take direction effectively, and proactively contribute ideas and recommendations.
• Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future content and account growth.

Requirements:

• Experience managing a social media account and growing a new account from scratch, whether professionally or through a personal project.
• Strong video editing skills and familiarity with tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or AI-powered video editing platforms.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content.
• Fluent English communication skills and strong proficiency in at least one Indian language, such as Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, or Telugu.
• Strong curiosity about social media content, creators, audience behavior, and what makes videos perform effectively.
• Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects with limited supervision.
• Ability to manage priorities and incorporate direction from multiple stakeholders.
• Creative, adaptable, and eager to experiment with new content ideas and formats.
• Recent graduates and candidates with professional experience are welcome to apply.
