Senior xEngineer (Backend Oriented) - CTO Team

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to diverse workflows, and drive success by delivering innovative solutions that support the company’s strategic goals. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with Scala, Java, and Node.js, delivering high-quality support and results.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Work closely with diverse teams, adapting to their processes and respecting established workflows
Deliver innovative solutions while supporting teams in achieving their goals
Take a hands-on approach with Scala, Java, and Node.js to develop robust backend services
Plan, design, build, and maintain systems while working closely with Wix developers to improve their experience and eliminate velocity blockers
3+ years of experience as a backend developer
Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Java and Node.js
An in-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
Skilled in debugging and investigating production issues, with the ability to recognize and address "bad code"
A team player who values ownership and accountability, while always being ready to lend a hand and support each other
A versatile skill set with the ability to transition smoothly between platforms and diverse technical environments
A commitment to delivering consistent, timely results and a proven track record of meeting high-quality standards
Enthusiastic about solving critical business problems and conceiving unconventional, "out-of-the-box" solutions
It’s an advantage if you:
Are proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
Have knowledge of gRPC and Protobuf
Are familiar with Scala or other functional and modern programming languages
