Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (all genders)

Support the quality team in daily work with suppliers to ensure incoming components meet our standards and production runs smoothly without delays or defects.
Assist with supplier onboarding, qualification, and regular performance tracking under the guidance of senior team members
Help manage supplier non-conformances (SCARs), follow up on corrective action reports (CAPA/8D), and monitor deadline compliance
Participate in part approval processes (PPAP, FAIR) and basic incoming inspection planning
Collaborate with Engineering and Purchasing to review drawing requirements, key characteristics, and basic design details
Assist in preparing for supplier audits and participate in risk reviews (FMEA) alongside senior engineers
Support the rollout and maintenance of standardized inspection plans across different production sites
Monitor baseline supplier metrics (defect rates, delivery reliability) and track environmental compliance data (REACH, RoHS)
BSc/MSc in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
0–2 years of experience or strong internship exposure in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Supply Chain Management
Understanding of basic quality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, CAPA) and general exposure to PPAP / FAI concepts
Basic ability to read technical drawings, CAD files, and engineering documentation
Hands-on, structured approach to problem-solving with high attention to detail
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel/Office is a plus
Fluent English; German is a strong advantage
