GeoWay builds inDrive’s full navigation stack across 47 countries and 1,200+ cities — from raw probe data to the arrow on the screen. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the routing, ETA, and navigation roadmap across every vertical, using data to defend prioritization when competing teams vie for dedicated cost functions.
You’ll run an experiment pipeline measured in seconds of ETA error, pre-pickup cancellations, and driver earnings per hour. Balancing technical performance with driver safety, you’ll partner with engineering on strict latency budgets and Design on low-distraction UI.
To solve open routing problems in markets like Lagos, Karachi, and Jakarta, you’ll ride along with drivers to spot pickup failures in person and size them in the data; holding the line against stakeholder requests that threaten overall network quality.

- Own the Core Navigation Roadmap: Lead the routing, ETA, and navigation strategy across all business verticals, defending feature sequencing when competing teams each demand priority.
- Drive Experimentation & Operational Metrics: Run a continuous experiment pipeline evaluated against ETA error (in seconds), pre-pickup cancellation rates, and driver earnings per online hour.
- Balance Technical Limits & Safety: Collaborate with ML, backend, and mobile engineers to optimize performance within latency and volume budgets, while partnering with Design and Research to build clear, safe UI for drivers moving at 60 km/h on cracked screens.
- Bridge Field Research & Big Data: Spend time in local markets riding with drivers and couriers to observe pickup failures in person, then locate and size those root causes in the data.
- Protect Platform Integrity: Serve as the steward of network performance, leveraging empirical data and impact modeling to manage stakeholder expectations and decline requests that compromise overall route quality.
- 5+ years in Product Management within high-volume Mapping, Ride-hailing or Delivery business.
- Domain Ownership (Must-Have): Direct, hands-on ownership of at least one core mapping component built in-house (e.g., routing, ETA generation, traffic engines, or map-data pipelines).
- Technical & Algorithmic Depth: Deep familiarity with mapping trade-offs and primitives, including road graphs, segment attributes, speed profiles, turn restrictions, map matching/snapping, isochrones, contraction hierarchies (or alternative preprocessing methods), and tail-end ETA error distribution.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Demonstrated history of managing continuous A/B testing pipelines, running concurrent experiments, and performing hands-on SQL/data tool post-analyses independently.
- Systems & Infrastructure Literacy: Solid understanding of map tile serving, caching strategies, request volume scaling, client-backend APIs, and offline/degraded network behavior.
- Navigation UX Intuition: Strong visual and user experience judgment for geospatial interfaces, particularly in identifying high-stress driver usability friction points and missing UI elements.
- Communication: Business-fluent English proficiency (B2/C1+ or equivalent).
