Senior Healthcare Employer Marketing Manager

This role owns the healthcare employer marketing workstream within a national employer-focused growth strategy.
You’ll translate healthcare workforce challenges, employer insights, and business priorities into compelling marketing programs.
The position spans campaigns, content, field marketing, conferences, executive engagement, and sales enablement.
You’ll work closely with Business Development, Healthcare Solutions, Product, Brand, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
A major focus will be generating qualified demand, influencing pipeline progression, and supporting strategic employer partnerships.
You’ll also lead research and insights, using market intelligence and performance data to shape messaging and investment decisions.
This is a highly autonomous opportunity for a strategic, commercially minded marketer who can turn complex healthcare solutions into clear employer value propositions.
Accountabilities

Own the Healthcare Employer Marketing workstream, including annual and quarterly priorities, operating plans, performance measures, calendars, and execution against business objectives.

Develop and manage integrated employer go-to-market plans spanning targeted campaigns, field marketing, conferences, events, thought leadership, executive engagement, content, and sales enablement.

Define priority employer audiences, decision-makers, workforce challenges, value propositions, proof points, and calls to action across relevant segments and channels.

Allocate marketing resources based on employer research, market opportunity, pipeline needs, field intelligence, and growth priorities.

Lead marketing activation for priority healthcare employer pursuits, including research, messaging, content, executive engagement, campaign support, and follow-through.

Establish standards and governance for employer-facing content and sales enablement, ensuring resources remain current, differentiated, accurate, and aligned with business priorities.

Create and oversee employer-facing materials including campaigns, executive briefs, presentations, proposals, case studies, ROI materials, needs assessments, thought leadership, web content, social media, webinars, and related assets.

Lead conference and engagement marketing, coordinating messaging, presentations, collateral, lead capture, executive participation, and post-event follow-up with internal and external partners.

Lead healthcare employer research and insights, synthesizing workforce priorities, market trends, competitive intelligence, account intelligence, and field feedback into actionable recommendations.

Partner with Business Development and Healthcare Workforce leaders to strengthen priority opportunities through stakeholder planning, differentiated positioning, meeting objectives, and partnership strategies.

Coordinate cross-functional marketing workstreams across Healthcare Solutions, Business Development, Product, Academic Strategy, Marketing, Brand, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other teams.

Build dashboards, opportunity briefs, content calendars, campaign reporting, decision logs, and other operating tools that create visibility and accountability.

Translate complex healthcare workforce solutions into clear, compelling, employer-relevant positioning and messaging.

Measure and optimize performance using employer engagement, qualified leads, pipeline influence, opportunity progression, content adoption, and partnership outcomes.

Maintain a well-organized library of research, employer-facing assets, presentations, proof points, and reusable resources.

Exercise independent judgment, resolve execution issues, manage competing priorities, and escalate material risks while ensuring reliable delivery against agreed objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Strategy, Operations, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.

At least 6 years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, business development enablement, healthcare, workforce development, communications, operations, consulting, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience independently owning a substantial B2B marketing, go-to-market, field marketing, employer engagement, or comparable business workstream with measurable outcomes.

Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex healthcare, workforce, product, and business concepts.

Strong experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, establishing priorities and operating rhythms, and driving execution across matrixed teams without direct authority.

Strong research, analytical, and commercial judgment, with the ability to turn market intelligence, employer needs, workforce trends, pipeline signals, and performance data into actionable decisions.

Demonstrated independence, ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities from planning through measurable execution.

Experience working with hospitals, health systems, healthcare employers, workforce leaders, HR leaders, clinical education leaders, or healthcare executives is highly valued.

Familiarity with healthcare workforce development, nursing, allied health, medical imaging, behavioral health, apprenticeships, train-to-hire programs, employee education benefits, or talent pipeline solutions is a plus.

Experience developing content for conferences, executive events, email campaigns, social media, websites, webinars, thought leadership, and enterprise sales pursuits is beneficial.

Experience collaborating with Brand, Product, Marketing, Business Development, and senior leadership in a matrixed environment is preferred.

Experience managing content libraries, research repositories, campaign calendars, dashboards, or sales enablement systems in a distributed or remote environment is advantageous.
