Senior Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer based in India.

This role focuses on building the web platform that enterprise users rely on to manage a multi-tenant control plane for AI infrastructure. You will work across React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js to deliver secure, resilient, information-dense experiences for system administrators. The platform supports critical workflows including tenancy management, GPU orchestration, access policies, and real-time cluster observability. You will own features from design through production, while contributing to the underlying design system, data layer, authentication, and API integrations. Working with distributed engineering teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, you will help shape both frontend architecture and backend-facing web services. The environment emphasizes open-source technologies, strong engineering practices, continuous learning, and technical ownership.

• Build end-to-end product capabilities in a modern Next.js and React application, working across server components, route handlers, client-side interactions, and the supporting data layer.
• Extend and maintain shared component libraries, design tokens, scalable theming, and accessible UI patterns while translating Figma specifications accurately across light and dark themes.
• Own the web server tier responsible for API proxying, request handling, session management, and securely keeping backend service URLs and credentials away from the client.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OIDC, JWT verification, session expiration controls, and role-based UI access aligned with platform permissions.
• Maintain the generated TypeScript SDK based on OpenAPI specifications, including code generation, compatibility checks, and detection of differences between generated clients and live APIs.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers on API contracts, advocating for response structures that efficiently support the user experience and resolving gaps through API improvements rather than frontend workarounds.
• Develop a resilient data layer with caching, invalidation, optimistic updates, pagination, and accurate loading and error states for highly dynamic infrastructure data.
• Build comprehensive automated testing across component and end-to-end levels, including mocked network behavior and Playwright testing against live environments.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, responsive design, and web performance standards, with attention to bundle size, rendering costs, and the amount of code delivered to each route.
• Instrument production applications with error tracking, product analytics, feature flags, and structured logging to support reliability and continuous improvement.
• Review code, investigate production issues to root cause, add regression coverage, and mentor junior engineers through technical discussions and design reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including deep production experience with TypeScript and modern React development.
• Strong expertise in Next.js architecture, including the App Router, server/client component boundaries, server-side rendering, and caching strategies.
• Proven full-stack experience with the ability to securely develop server-side functionality and API proxies in addition to browser-based applications.
• Practical experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication, JWT verification, secure cookies and sessions, and role-based access control.
• Strong understanding of application state architecture, particularly the synchronization of server state with client-side UI interactions and updates.
• Advanced CSS and design-system experience, including utility-first CSS, scalable theming, accessible component APIs, and headless UI primitives.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, component, and end-to-end testing, including network mocking and CI integration.
• Production experience with TypeScript, React 19, Next.js App Router, Node.js 22+, Tailwind CSS v4, TanStack Query, Zod, and OpenAPI-generated clients.
• Familiarity with authentication libraries such as jose or equivalent, as well as Vitest, Testing Library, MSW, Playwright, pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, ESLint, Prettier, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with production monitoring and analytics tools such as Sentry, PostHog, or equivalent, together with Docker-based deployments.
• Experience working in monorepos with shared packages and task-graph build systems.
• Clear written English and strong communication skills for technical documentation, code reviews, design discussions, and asynchronous collaboration across global time zones.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure products, GPU or AI/ML platform interfaces, YAML editors and validation, geospatial visualization, animations, Core Web Vitals, bundle analysis, streaming, or partial rendering is advantageous.
• Additional value comes from experience with feature-flagged delivery, design-system ownership, visual regression testing, OpenTelemetry, structured client-side logging, Go, or contributions to CNCF and React/TypeScript open-source projects.
