We are looking for a Senior AIX System Administrator to join a team supporting international clients, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining critical environments based on IBM AIX. This role is ideal for highly experienced professionals who value autonomy, stability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support IBM AIX systems in enterprise environments
- Ensure platform availability, performance, and security through proactive and corrective actions
- Monitor systems, identify anomalies, and ensure timely resolution
- Perform maintenance activities, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting
- Collaborate with international teams in managing critical infrastructures
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of operational processes
- Proven experience of over 5 years in IBM AIX system administration
- Strong background in corporate environments and critical infrastructures
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience in supporting and operating mission-critical platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
- High level of autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams
