JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for directing and delegating responsibilities to Security Shift Supervisors, Senior Security Officers, and Security Officers.
- Responsible for conducting interviews and evaluating security staff.
- Responsible for overseeing staff development, motivation, and training.
- Recommends documents and issues discipline.
- Responsible for reviewing and submitting all shift paperwork.
- Communicates all policy and procedure changes, special events, and other activities to security personnel.
- Responsible for the efficient scheduling of security personnel as required.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring maintenance of a system that complies with Company and Departmental Procedures, Internal Controls, VLEU, and Delaware State Racing Commission Regulations.
- Responsible for positive interactions with VLEU, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Delaware State Racing Commission.
- Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Three (3) or more years of security supervisory experience (gaming industry preferred).
- Must be able to complete and maintain the background check and licensing process required by the Delaware Lottery.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
