Revit Design Technician

Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Revit Drafter/Coordinator to join our MEP team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have some hands-on experience with Revit, an eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset. This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills while working on impactful projects with a team of seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating plumbing system designs in Revit for various project types (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.).
• Support development of construction documents, including layouts, schematics, and specifications for plumbing systems.
• Coordinate MEP systems in detailed 3D models, ensuring accuracy and integration across disciplines.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and consultants to meet project requirements.
• Apply design standards and codes while maintaining high-quality documentation.
• Update and revise plans in Revit as projects progress, ensuring documentation meets client expectations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of plumbing systems and design principles (formal education or related experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Revit with a willingness to learn and improve as needed; BIM familiarity is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• High motivation to develop technical skills and advance your career.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary Range:

$70,000 to $80,000
