Revenue Marketing Director
Posted Updated
About the Role:
Capitalize is looking for a Revenue Marketing Director to build and own our demand generation and revenue marketing function. The ideal candidate is someone who can own qualified pipeline and marketing-sourced revenue, not just brand awareness, and who can bring the discipline, data, and prioritization skills to move our marketing function from reactive to proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow qualified pipeline and marketing-sourced revenue, through building and scaling a repeatable demand generation engine across events, webinars, partnerships, outbound, and inbound channels
- Partner closely with sales—without functioning as a sales-enablement resource. Build lead segmentation and nurture strategies (distinguishing true marketing-qualified leads from all form fills) and refine our marketing/sales SLA so sales focuses on the warmest leads while marketing nurtures the rest
- Develop Capitalize's annual marketing plan, including plans that support our strategic partners and their ideal customer profiles (ICPs)
- Build a strategic marketing roadmap aligned to company goals, and strengthen alignment across marketing, sales, product, executive leadership, and delivery teams
- Establish strong marketing attribution and reporting, with a consistent cadence that gives leadership real visibility into what's working
- Oversee digital marketing performance, including website strategy, SEO, SEM, and GEO (generative engine optimization).
- Dig into existing marketing and CRM data (including data in Pipedrive) to identify where to focus effort
- Prioritize across a growing volume of requests from across the business and push back when needed—with clear reasoning leadership can get behind
- Work on growing and developing the marketing team, identifying skill gaps, and implementing strategies to address them
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience in marketing roles
- Proven experience owning pipeline and marketing-sourced revenue as a metric you're evaluated on—not just brand awareness or campaign activity
- Experience building demand generation programs across multiple channels: events, webinars, partnerships, outbound, and inbound
- Comfort working with strategic partners and building annual marketing plans that account for partner ICPs and revenue goals
- Strong marketing analytics skills, including comfort working with imperfect or messy CRM data
- Experience improving marketing attribution, reporting, and lead segmentation/nurture practices
- A track record of aligning marketing with sales, product, and delivery teams in a cross-functional environment
- A strong communicator who can quickly synthesize fast-moving, sometimes unstructured direction from leadership into clear priorities
- Consulting or professional-services marketing experience is a plus—understanding
