- Promotes a healthy and safe environment for patients.
- Assists physicians and advanced providers during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to changes in patient health status.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with the patient and interprofessional team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to function at a high level in a physically demanding, high-stress environment
- Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions
- Ability to work irregular hours including call hours
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft® Word and the ability to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs
- Displays working knowledge of endoscopic techniques
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 1+ years acute care nursing experience [Required]
- 2+ years endoscopy experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:
- CNIM (Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) Upon Hire Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
