Job Description
Every product tells a story under pressure. Help ensure advanced EO/IR systems perform reliably through temperature extremes, vibration, shock, and real-world environmental conditions.
Join a team focused on ensuring the performance, durability, and reliability of advanced electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) technologies. In this hands-on engineering role, you will lead qualification and verification testing efforts that help bring complex products from development through production with confidence.

What you'll do
- Lead Design Verification Testing (DVT), environmental qualification testing, and ongoing reliability verification activities
- Direct day-to-day work within the internal testing laboratory and mentor Test Technicians
- Develop test plans, procedures, and methods to validate product performance and reliability
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with clear conclusions and recommendations
- Coordinate and oversee testing performed by external laboratories and suppliers
- Manage testing-related logistics, including purchase orders and vendor interactions
- Review customer and contractual requirements to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, sales, and customers on test strategy and results
- Support quality initiatives and Quality Management System (QMS) activities
- Drive continuous improvement in test processes, documentation, and execution
What you need
- Required: Strong communication, planning, and technical documentation skills
- Required: Experience developing, executing, and documenting qualification or reliability testing
- Required: Working knowledge of temperature, shock, and vibration testing equipment, including programming
- Required: Ability to interpret vibration profiles and technical test data
- Required: 5+ years of experience in Quality, Reliability, Test Engineering, or a related field
- Required: Familiarity with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Advantage: Experience testing EO/IR products, MIL-STD-810 methodologies, and leading Test Technicians
