Job Summary
Concord is looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester with strong expertise in web automation using Cypress. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and performance
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and quality metrics are maintained
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices
- 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web automation
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with test frameworks and tools (Mocha, Chai, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience in API testing is a plus (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with performance or security testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
