QA Engineer (Contract)

In 2026, CourtAvenue launched a dedicated MarTech practice, bringing enterprise platform strategy, systems integration, and digital experience delivery under one roof. Our MarTech team works at the intersection of the CMO and CTO, designing and implementing platform ecosystems across Adobe Experience Cloud, Contentful (now part of Salesforce), Optimizely, and emerging composable stacks. This is disciplined, standards-driven platform delivery that earns trust with client IT and marketing leadership alike.

The QA Engineer at CourtAvenue works directly with Project Managers and Developers to understand requirements, execute test cases, and identify defects before they reach the client. On the MarTech practice, this role supports DAM migration and platform implementation work, ensuring that content, assets, and integrations are validated thoroughly before release.

This is a junior-to-mid-level contract role. You do not need deep Adobe platform expertise to be successful here, though familiarity with Adobe Asset Manager or Adobe Experience Manager is a plus. What matters most is disciplined test execution, clear defect documentation, and a zero-tolerance mindset for quality gaps.

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback on testability and completeness

• Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases for DAM migration, content platform, and integration workstreams

• Execute test cases and document results clearly and traceably

• Identify, record, and track defects with thorough documentation that developers can act on

• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities across sprint cycles

• Collaborate with CourtAvenue stakeholders across technology, creative, and delivery to clarify unclear requirements before testing begins

• Track quality metrics and contribute to sprint retrospectives with QA findings

• Stay current on testing tools and strategies relevant to CMS and DAM platform work

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a QA Analyst or QA Engineer role on digital platform or web development projects

• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes; comfortable working within sprint ceremonies

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira

• Strong written communication skills; your defect reports should speak for themselves

• Adobe Asset Manager or Adobe Experience Manager familiarity is a plus but not required; experience with any DAM or CMS platform is valued

• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
