Project Finance Analyst – Infrastructure Finance / Clean Energy Finance - Officer

This is an intermediate level role. Candidates from Infrastructure sector (Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, Storage, Roads & Highways, Data Centers etc.) background will be preferred. Preparing high-quality reviews preparation such as Annual and Quarterly Reviews, assistance in new and enhancement transactions, waivers and amendment memos etc. Candidates need to have full control over financial models for Projections, valuation using different valuation approaches such as relative valuation, DCF, replacement cost, etc. Manage the due diligence process.
Analyzing global geo political issues, Industry research and legal and regulatory framework to help prepare high-quality memos for various infrastructure portfolio. Interaction with stakeholders both internal and external would be a key requirement.
Candidate will need to manage multiple mandates and juggle deliverables under tight client deadlines Candidate should be willing to work in all of the sub sectors within Infrastructure sector.
In this role, you’re expected to:
- Conduct due diligence and credit risk assessments, including technical and financial analysis
- Build and maintain financial models for projects finance transactions
- Analyze and identify risks, recommending protective structures for transactions
- Prepare credit memorandums and other ad hoc credit reports
- Support transaction execution and system set-up
- Manage credit exposure, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Stay informed on client industry trends and risks
- Reviewing and providing recommendation on the risk raking across this sector
- Partnership with applicable regional and industry stakeholders in BCMA and Independent Risk in the implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards for applicable portfolios
- Support Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives
- Travel (less than 10%)
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 3-6 years relevant working in the Project Finance field- funding large infrastructure projects and must have strong financial modelling skill
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience in financial services or consulting
- Understanding of credit risk management and commercial requirements
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in project & infrastructure finance
- Strong networking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of global banking practices
Education:
- MBA (Finance), PGDBM, CA or CFA
