This position reports to:
Integrated Production Unit Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic assembly thinking/ excellence concepts in projects. You will support on a daily base production line for assembly and wiring low voltage compartments.
The work model for the role is onsite.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business Area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Processing and transforming technical documentation as electrical schematics and mechanical drawings according customer requirements, provides support to Production during projects execution
- Contacting the designers from the other ABB destinations in case of technical issue or missing product documentations. Proactively suggests solutions
- Ensuring the smoothly change of revisions in the projects
- Supporting Planning and SCM team for preparing RFQs to suppliers and evaluating the technical aspect of the offers. Consulting suppliers on ABB requirements.

Qualifications for the role
- Technical bachelor`s degree, electrical/ mechatronic/ automation background will be an advantage
- You are at ease communicating in English
- You are qualified in MS Office (Excel, Word). SAP knowledge will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5s, TAKT, OEE, Problem Solving Methodology, Value Stream Maps) will be considered as an advantage
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in production field
- You are passionate about working in a team environment, focusing on customer’s service
