Procurement/Purchase- Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of engineering materials, equipment, spares, and consumables.
- Manage procurement for plant maintenance, CAPEX, expansion, and project requirements.
- Source and develop reliable vendors for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, civil, and utility items.
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and issue POs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Stores, QA/QC, and Finance teams.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery, quality, inspection, and documentation.
- Monitor project procurement schedules and ensure availability of critical/long-lead items.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement within approved budgets.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Engineering/Project Procurement, preferably in Chemical/Pharma/Process Industry.
- Good negotiation, vendor management, ERP, MS Excel, and communication skills.
