POSITION SUMMARY:

Securonix is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Principal Solutions Architect to serve as a senior technical leader for strategic customers and prospects. This role will shape security outcomes by designing scalable, high-value solutions using the Securonix Unified Defense SIEM platform, including security analytics, threat detection, UEBA, SOAR, data integrations, and cloud security capabilities.

The Principal Solutions Architect combines deep cybersecurity expertise, strong technical architecture skills, and executive-level communication. They will lead complex solution design, influence technical and business stakeholders, guide enterprise deployments, and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to drive customer value, adoption, expansion, and long-term success.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and technical strategy for Securonix’s most strategic enterprise customers and prospects.
• Design scalable security operations solutions spanning SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, security data pipelines, detection engineering, incident response workflows, and cloud environments.
• Translate customer business objectives, risk priorities, compliance requirements, and security operations challenges into clear, outcome-focused technical architectures.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to CISOs, CIOs, security leaders, SOC managers, architects, and senior technical stakeholders.
• Lead executive and technical workshops, architecture reviews, solution demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and roadmap discussions.
• Develop and communicate solution architectures, integration plans, data-source strategies, deployment approaches, and adoption roadmaps.
• Advise customers on security data onboarding, use-case prioritization, detection maturity, automation opportunities, and SOC optimization.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success teams to support new-logo opportunities, renewals, expansions, and strategic account plans.
• Provide technical leadership during complex sales cycles, including RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, competitive positioning, and technical validation.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Support teams to ensure successful transition from presales architecture through deployment and ongoing customer value realization.
• Identify recurring customer needs, product gaps, and market trends; provide structured feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
• Develop reusable technical assets, reference architectures, solution playbooks, demos, and best practices for the broader field organization.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers, elevating technical standards, customer engagement practices, and architectural rigor across the organization.
• Represent Securonix at customer events, industry conferences, executive briefings, and partner engagements as a technical thought leader.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, solutions architecture, technical consulting, sales engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• 5+ years of experience architecting or deploying enterprise SIEM, security analytics, XDR, SOAR, UEBA, SOC, or threat detection solutions.
• Strong understanding of security operations workflows, including threat detection, investigation, incident response, threat hunting, log management, and security automation.
• Deep familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, SaaS applications, and modern identity technologies.
• Experience integrating security platforms with data sources such as EDR, NDR, IAM, firewalls, cloud platforms, vulnerability management tools, ticketing systems, and threat intelligence sources.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, technical evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-value programs.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in business-focused language and connect technology investments to measurable security outcomes.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Securonix or comparable SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, XDR, or security analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of detection engineering frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, threat modeling, and security use-case development.
• Experience with data platforms, APIs, scripting, and automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, SQL, or JSON.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GIAC, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent.
• Experience working with large, global enterprises in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, government, retail, or technology.
