Platform Manager Integration Reengineering | Technology and Platform | Inter IKEA

As Platform Manager for Integration Reengineering, you are at the centre of our modernization and adoption of Common Technology Foundation. Enterprise integration is a strategic capability at the heart of our digital transformation, and you will be part of leading the full platform lifecycle of our integration technologies and defining the path forward for our legacy landscape.

While driving modernization is an important part of the role, an equally important responsibility is to ensure stable operations, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the platform landscape. You are expected to make balanced decisions between transformation, operational stability, technical debt reduction and platform lifecycle management. Success in this role comes from sustainable platforms that are secure, resilient, cost-efficient and trusted by engineering teams across the organisation.

You move confidently between technical depth and business context, drawing from solid experience in platforms, architecture, service management and digital product development. You are comfortable navigating frameworks such as Agile, DevOps, ITIL and TOGAF, and you understand how to apply them in practice to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You have a strong appreciation for operational excellence and understand what it takes to run business-critical enterprise platforms at scale. You are comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and the practical realities of platform operations, support models, governance, reliability and lifecycle management

You communicate with purpose, collaborate naturally across units, and build trusted relationships with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. With a growth mindset, you continuously explore and guide teams through change and opportunities.

We believe you bring experience from several of these areas:

• Strong understanding of platforms, architecture and technology ecosystems across cloud, on‑prem and hybrid environments

• Proven experience owning, operating, maintaining and transforming enterprise integration platforms in production environments

• Software engineering at scale - API-first design, event-based architecture, API Gateways, and Legacy-to-Cloud strangler patterns

• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing technical teams and drive organisational change
