Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old patient who relies on skilled nursing support. Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient in Allendale, NJ with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor, requiring G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist treatments, and mobility support in the home and school settings.

⭐ Available Shifts
Coverage Needed:
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
⭐ About the Case
- 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to brain tumor
- G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
- Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
- Cough assist treatments
- Wheelchair dependent
- Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
- Consistent schedule with a supportive family
⭐ What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
- Manage and monitor G-tube feedings
- Perform suctioning and respiratory support interventions
- Administer cough assist treatments as ordered
- Assess and monitor respiratory status and overall condition
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with the family, school staff, and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care
⭐ Pay Rate
LPN: $40/hr
⭐ What You Bring
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Experience with G-tubes, suctioning, airway management, and medically complex pediatric patients preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
