⭐ Available Shifts
Coverage Needed:
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
⭐ About the Case
- 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor
- Requires G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
- Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
- Cough assist treatments
- Wheelchair dependent
- Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
- Consistent daytime schedule
- Supportive and engaged family
⭐ What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
- Administer and monitor G-tube feedings
- Perform suctioning and airway management as needed
- Administer cough assist therapy and monitor respiratory status
- Assess for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with the family, school personnel, physicians, and Affirmed Home Care clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Complete accurate clinical documentation
⭐ Pay Rate
RN: $50/hr
⭐ What You Bring
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Preferred experience with G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist, and medically complex pediatric patients
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
