We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Care Nurse to join our team at Sunny Days Children's Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a dynamic and compassionate environment. - Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vitals and progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering education when necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control standards.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Preferred/Nice-to-have Skills:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN licensure in state of practice.
