Part-Time Caregiver in Midlothian, VA
What You’ll Do
Caregivers may assist clients with a variety of activities of daily living, including:
- Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and other activities
- Offering medication reminders
- Preparing meals and providing light cooking assistance
- Helping with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Providing companionship and meaningful support
Caregivers with the appropriate CNA, PCA, or HHA certification may also provide hands-on personal care, including:
- Assistance with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Feeding assistance
- Mobility and ambulation support
- Bathing assistance
- Transfers, including bed-to-chair and chair-to-bed
- Toileting and incontinence care
What We’re Looking For
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred
- At least 6 months of professional or personal caregiving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills when working with clients, families, and team members
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care
