P/T Quality Assurance Auditor

The Strategic Technology Division is responsible for developing and coordinating deployment of emerging technology applications, strategic IT infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.

STD is looking for IT Quality Assurance Auditors for Application and Product Delivery specializes in ensuring enterprise software applications and product initiatives achieve the highest standards of quality assurance while adhering to Secure SDLC (SSDLC) best practices and governance requirements. This role focuses on rigorous quality validation, defect prevention, and process excellence across development, testing, and deployment phases for applications and products spanning multiple teams and vendors. The duties include, but are not limited to,

- Audit large programs across multiple divisions and vendors for Agile/hybrid methodology compliance, governance, and standardization.
- Conduct regular user access audits across enterprise applications to ensure that user permissions align with current job status, duties and department policies. This includes revoking access for retired, separated, or transferred personnel.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines enforce security policies and automated testing.
- Review TFS & Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and configurations for secure coding standards, SSDLC adherence, and consistent delivery practices.
- Verify Secure SDLC (SSDLC) compliance including threat modeling, secure coding standards, SAST/DAST scanning, and security testing.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines enforce security policies and automated testing.
- Verify vendor deliverables align with organizational coding standards, testing requirements, methodology expectations, and documentation templates.
- Review and approve test strategies, test plans, test cases and run books to guarantee comprehensive quality validation.
- Ensure release management, deployment validation, and post-production monitoring meet quality and security benchmarks.
- Assess testing coverage (unit, integration, system, UAT, regressions) meets organizational, methodology, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee defect lifecycle management from identification through triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and closure verification.
- Examine design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and retrospectives for effectiveness and standardization.
- Validate requirements traceability, ensuring business needs are testable, complete, and free of ambiguity.
- Identify quality risks, process gaps, and standardization issues, providing prioritized recommendations and remediation tracking.
- Produce quality-focused audit reports, dashboards, and executive summaries highlighting defects trends, code coverage metrics, security scan results and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct periodic and risk-based audits of high-impact, multi-vendor programs and platforms.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or

2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or

3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or

4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
