We’re looking for motivated, outgoing, competitive individuals who are ready to get into the field, connect with homeowners, and take advantage of an opportunity to earn, grow, and build valuable sales experience in the roofing and storm restoration industry.

No roofing experience? No sales experience? That’s okay.

If you’re coachable, comfortable talking to people, willing to work hard, and motivated by performance and earning potential, we’ll teach you the rest.

💰 $500 NEW HIRE BONUS

New team members are eligible to receive a $500 New Hire Bonus after successfully completing 90 days with R3 Roofing & Exteriors, provided they are actively working with R3 and in good standing at the time of payment.

⚡ 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION

This opportunity is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position.

Independent contractors are not eligible for company-sponsored employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement or 401(k) benefits, or other benefits offered to W-2 employees.

Independent contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations and withholdings.

⚡ WHAT DOES A SETTER DO?

As an Outside Sales Representative I, commonly called a Setter, you’ll work in residential neighborhoods throughout the Des Moines metro and surrounding communities.

Your primary responsibility is to connect with homeowners and offer complimentary property inspections.

You do not climb roofs, conduct property inspections, or assess storm damage yourself.

Once a homeowner agrees to an inspection, you’ll hand the opportunity off to an Outside Sales Representative II (Closer), who conducts the property inspection, assesses potential storm damage, and works with the homeowner through the next steps.

• Engage with homeowners in residential neighborhoods throughout the Des Moines metro

• Offer complimentary property inspections and schedule appointments

• Maintain clear communication with your assigned Closer and ensure a smooth handoff

• Build rapport and trust with homeowners while representing R3 professionally

• Generate quality leads and referrals

• Learn the roofing and storm restoration industry from experienced team members

• Participate in training, coaching, competitions, and development opportunities

• Continuously develop your sales skills with the opportunity to advance within R3
