What You'll Do:
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve their functional goals by:
- Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Fabricating and fitting custom splints based on patient diagnoses
- Providing evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities
- Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current state of Florida license
- CPR certification
- Outgoing, compassionate, and patient-focused personality
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a specialty practice
