NoSQL Data Architect

JD:

The Data Architect will interact closely with various Solution Architects, Technical Managers and Application developers in client teams. The incumbent will work closely with solution and platform architecture teams to provide architecture and solution approach to business problems. Must have a passion for problem solving and understanding of business problems. Understanding of e-commerce platforms is an advantage.

· Design and architect no-SQL applications with Datastax Cassandra and Datastax Search

· Work on proof of concepts with teams of developers and architects

· Evaluate work product delivered from various teams of developers and also provide reference implementations/blueprints

· Understand interrelationships and the impact of systems and applications upon the enterprise wide technical environment.

· Ensure data architecture standards, policies and procedures are implemented and followed.

· Work with business user teams to discuss, recommend, explain, and reconcile desired functionality and technology capabilities.

· Ability to think strategically and drive development strategies and tactics that produce faster turnaround on features and also world-class performance.

· Design for high performance and growth in order to ensure that the application is highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic.
