Network Production Engineer, Hardware

Meta is seeking a senior Network Production Engineer with deep hardware expertise to help define and drive the future of Meta's Edge Network infrastructure. Meta's Edge Network serves as the ingress point for all customer internet traffic across the entire family of Meta apps, making the performance, stability, and efficiency of our hardware and software stack mission-critical. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy for hardware selection, validation, and lifecycle management across our edge fleet, partnering with internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure we are deploying the highest-quality, most cost-effective hardware at scale. You will set the technical direction for rack-level design, server hardware evaluation, and production validation processes, while identifying opportunities to drive step-change improvements in total cost of ownership, thermal efficiency, and network performance. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role that requires both deep technical expertise in network and server hardware and the organizational influence to shape roadmaps across multiple engineering teams.
