Overview

Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment in all areas of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment that has failed.
• Maintain equipment to insure a trouble-free operation.
• Perform repairs in a quick and safe manner.
• Report any unusual machine action or noise.
• Complete equipment preventive maintenance activities to maximize plant up time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude & basic electrical knowledge
• Welding skills
• Ability to read technical writing and schematics
• Math skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles
• Experience in alignment and power transmission
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Fire and chemical hazard knowledge
• Experience working on high bay overhead crane
