Merchandiser & Product Coordinator (Fashion Lab) - 1-year contract

Role Mission

The Merchandiser & Product Coordinator (Fashion Lab) executes operational merchandising, PLM system updates, order management, and cross-functional tracking within the Hong Kong hub. This role ensures seamless execution across product development and bulk production phases by coordinating sample workflows, purchase orders, critical path timelines, and production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

System Referencing & Data Management (MAP / Centric):

• Input, maintain, and audit product data, style references, and bill of materials (BOM) within MAP and Centric PLM systems to ensure master data accuracy across teams.

Order Management & PO Execution:

• Handle POM order set-ups and issue official Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers and vendors accurately and in a timely manner.

Sample Lifecycle Management:

• Coordinate end-to-end sample processes, including protocol, fitting, pre-production (PPS), and sales samples.
• Manage physical sample intake, distribution, review feedback, and approvals.

Follow up production with vendors to meet on-time delivery

Shipment & Logistics Follow-up:

• Track cargo movements, closely follow up on shipping documents, and align with logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery (OTD).

Critical Path & Timeline Tracking:

• Execute daily tracking of the critical path across design, development, and production stages to mitigate delay risks and keep launch schedules on track.

AI photo creation coordination

• Coordinate product image production process, including liaising with photography studios, tracking image creation schedules, ensuring timely image upload, and collaborating with the Content team to verify image and product information compliance before publishing.

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Textiles, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, garment sourcing, or product development coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Centric PLM, MAP, or similar enterprise fashion software; proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Excellent time management, high attention to detail, and strong cross-functional communication abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Experience in fast-fashion and quick-response business models is preferred.
