MEP Plumbing Design Technician

Overview

Our Orlando office is looking for a Plumbing Designer with 3+ years of experience in Plumbing/Fire Protection to join our team.

Responsibilities

The person hired for this role will be responsible for using computer drafting techniques to generate plans, construction drawings, and other details associated with a variety of projects types.

• Designing plumbing systems including all associated details, risers, isometrics, and specifications.
• Perform system design calculations and equipment selections.
• Laying out plumbing systems including but not limited to sanitary, grease, domestic water, and fire sprinklers.
• Writes studies and reports for plumbing systems when needed on projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge and experience with Revit.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage work flow
