  • Patient scheduling, reminder calls, follow-up appointments
  • Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in PMS .
  • Filing, faxing, scanning, general clerical work
  • Knowledge and desire to navigate practice Website and follow up patient inquiries from website.
  • Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email
  • The ability to understand and differentiate between patient insurances; commercial plans vs Medicare. Must be able and willing to accurately enter patient information in system.
  • Must have strong computer and technology skills
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills with patients, providers and coworkers.
  • Positive attitude to contribute to the existing AWESOME environment in the office(s).
  • Punctuality is a must and have reliable transportation as we cover two locations.
  • Must be a team player, able and willing to follow directions and eager to learn

Job Type:

  • Full-time Monday to Friday (7:30 to 4:30) - Waterbury and Southbury locations

Experience:

  • Medical experience a plus but not needed – we will train – but you must want to be a part of an awesome team and to grow with us.
  • Dermatology experience is preferred

Education:

  • High School Diploma
