THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Servicing Supervisor to run the full servicing business unit at our workshop in Lisbon. You will carry team leadership responsibility, ensure all vehicles are ready according to the standards, own the depot's servicing P&L, and coordinate a team of RFAs - establishing repair priorities, managing spare parts and stock, and maintaining budgetary control - all while upholding high standards of quality and safety. You'll stay hands-on, performing repairs yourself when the queue needs it.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Team Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the servicing team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure RFAs and Interns develop their technical skills and adhere to company standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Workshop Operations:

• Plan, prioritise, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues or complex repairs, and perform repairs yourself when the queue needs it.
• Coordinate the execution of vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.

Inventory and Spare Parts Management:

• Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for repairs outside our in-house scope and for spare-parts sourcing; negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
• Ensure an accurate spare-parts inventory - consumption, receiving flows, and stock counts.

Budget and Reporting:

• Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including fleet readiness, repair turnaround times and budget adherence.
• Propose improvements in processes to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 5+ years in a workshop, vehicle repair or maintenance role, including 2+ years leading a team.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive or campervan repair; a degree in automotive mechatronics or similar is a plus.
• Experience training and coaching other technicians.
• Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems
• Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• High ownership and accountability.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.
• Eligible to work in Portugal, with a valid driving licence, and confident driving a campervan.
• Available on weekends and public holidays.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, including the possibility of working abroad for specific periods depending on the project.
